A story about Malc
“Our Man Malc”,
the ever present 43 neighbourhood friend , who is forever helping others heal here, and in the “real” world that is his life. He always takes the time to offer a helping hand to others in need, no matter how seemingly busy he seems to be! (These kind hearted souls always amaze me with the ease and grace for which they walk among us, and shine as examples to others along the way). Malc is a brilliant photographer, who’s photographs have moved me with the amount of emotion they held within them,( and also made me seriously doubt my ability to get any where past my disposable camera shots that are famously known for their blurry format I have expertly mastered, so as you can no longer tell where the person of subject starts, and the landscape begins.)
This guy has been to more places that I could possibly even begin to dream of, let alone actually go! (..... I obviously have gotten into the wrong business in life, and should seriously consider a career change, or beg Malc to adopt me as his large and unruly daughter, to drag along on all his amazing travels , so as I too can see the far reaches of the world! )
though some how I have a feeling my chances of being run over by a Elephant carrying a small import car on it’s back, filled with cursing clowns, whilst crossing the street in down town New York, is far greater , than being adopted at my unlikely age :(
.....But one can always hope.
I hope Malcs off some place by the sea, photographing more sunsets for the rest of us to see, and taking the time to enjoy the finer things in life, like laughter, good company , fresh air ( and perhaps a bit of chocolate cheese cake to top it all off as well! )
I look forward to seeing the world through the eyes of your famous photos, and hearing about your latest travel tales ( even if I am completely green with envy! As there could always be worst colours I could turn.) ;) Cheers to Malcolm, our English Mate!
